Making a flower or seedling pot out of paper pulp egg cartons is an inexpensive and earth-friendly way to repurpose would-be trash. Common household items, seeds and a bag of potting soil are the only supplies needed to complete this craft. Egg carton flowerpots can be used in professional nursery settings or as an education craft for children.

  6. Step 6

Cut the egg carton sections with scissors before relocating the plants outdoors or into bigger pots. Do not remove the egg cartons, and plant the growing seeds into the ground or larger pot. Water the plants as necessary.
