Darts make a great game, and you don't need a whole slew of people to play. You can work on your coordination, aim and precision while you are completely alone when you play solitaire darts. The game of 21 is an ideal activity for playing alone, and it's not difficult to learn.

Difficulty: Moderately Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • Darts
  • Dartboard
  • Paper and pencil
  1. Step 1

Set up your score sheet. Make a grid with two columns across and seven rows down. In the first column, put the numbers 15, 16, 17, 18, 19, 20 and the words bull's eye. Leave the second column blank to fill in as you play.

  2. Step 2

Begin by trying to get at least three darts in the zone underneath the number 15. Your darts can land in either the double ring or triple ring corresponding to 15, but no other darts count for a score.

  3. Step 3

Write down the number of darts you got in the number 15 zone. Put your dart number in the blank box next to the number 15.

  4. Step 4

Move through the rest of your score sheet. Repeat the steps for the zone corresponding to 16, 17, 18, 19, 20 and then the bull's eye.

  5. Step 5

Tally your score at the end. The ideal score is at least three darts in each zone, which would give you the score of 21, which is also the name of the game.

Tips & Warnings
  • Mix up the game a bit to keep it fresh. You can move backwards through the numbers, make them count only in the double or triple ring or use numbers other than 15 through 20.
