How to Add a Monocular to a Bow Sight
A monocular is a great piece of equipment for the hunter. It gives you an accurate close up view of your game from hundreds of yards away. For the archer, it can give you a clearer view of the target, and if you monocular is night-vision, you'll be able to see at night when most animals are out on the prowl for their own prey.

1
Place your monocular in the mounting bar included with your mounting set up. If you are making your own mounting bracket, secure the monocular to the extension bar (1/2" aluminum or plastic rod) with rubber bands, a leather strap or screws if the monocular can be screw mounted.
-
2
Line up the extension (leading back from on top of the grip) on the bow so it situates the monocular comfortably in your view. Use the bow and take note of where the front of the bow lines up with your eyesight, then run a few tests with the mounting hardware in position to get it right.

3
Set the mounting bracket onto the bow, above the handle where there is room to drill and mount. Mark off the holes to be drilled, and carefully drill them out with a carbide bit to be extra precise.
-
4
Dab glue on the ends of the screws and slide them through the bracket and secure it to the bow with a power driver.
-
5
Attach the extension bar to the mounting bracket using a pair of small screws. If you are making this bracket yourself, be sure it is thick enough to hold screws and allows for adjusting the arm up and down.
