Instructions

    • 1

Build a garden fence around your flowers and line the inside of the fence with chicken wire. Make sure that the fence is at least 2 inches high. If you do not want to build a fence continue to the next step.

    • 2

Sprinkle hair clippings around your flower beds. The scent from human hair keeps bunnies away since they smell the hair and think that a human is nearby. Continue if this does not work.

    • 3

In a spray bottle, combine 1 part of vinegar or hot pepper sauce with 10 parts of water and a spoon of dish soap. Shake well and spray your flowers with it. The bunnies will not like the vinegar or pepper taste and they should avoid your garden after one or two tastes of your sprayed flowers.

Sprinkle moth balls around your flowers if the above steps do not work. If you have a vegetable garden, do not use moth balls since the chemicals could be drawn into your vegetables and make you sick if you eat them. Moth balls are toxic to humans and animals.
