Although you cannot insert a Java Applet directly into a PowerPoint presentation, you can use a work around. Microsoft MVP Shyam Pillai has created the free software called LiveWeb. The software is an Add-in for PowerPoint that allows the insertion of Web pages from the Internet or your hard drive into a PowerPoint slide. The program then refreshes the web page in real time.
