Instructions

    • 1

Open the battery door, located on the underside of the camera (use your thumb to slide the door outwards). Install the two AA batteries into the battery bay. Install the SD card into the slot located next to the battery bay. Close the battery door.

    • 2

Press the power button located on top of the camera. Locate the "Playback" button on the rear of the camera, under the "W" button; this button switches the camera between "Capture" and "Playback" modes. Set the camera to "Capture" mode.

    • 3

Press the button on the bottom right of the rear of the camera to open the mode selection window. Use the navigation buttons to select "Still Image" mode. Press the button labeled "Set Disp" to confirm your selection.

    • 4

Press the button labeled "M." Use the navigation buttons to open the "Resolution" menu. Select your desired resolution (higher resolutions result in better image quality and larger file sizes) and press "Set Disp" to confirm.

    • 5

Raise the camera to eye level and use the LCD display to help you frame your image, as desired. Use the buttons labeled "W" and "T" to zoom in or out, if necessary.

    • 6

Apply light pressure to the shutter button (located on top of the camera). Wait for the "Auto Focus" light to stop blinking, then press the shutter button all the way down; your camera will now capture the image and save it to the memory card.

    • 7

Turn on your computer and insert the installation CD that came packaged with your camera. Open the installer program and follow the onscreen instructions.

    • 8

Use the USB cable to connect your camera to the computer; your camera will now be listed with the other disk drives connected to your computer. Open the listing for your camera and copy the picture files contained within to your computer. Print or email your pictures, as desired.
