Apply an over-the-counter product gel or cream that contains benzoyl peroxide. Rub this cream into the affected area twice daily. Your physician may be able to prescribe a topical antibiotic, such as clindamycin, erythromycin or tetracycline. These antibiotics are effective in killing bacteria around the blocked hair follicles.

4
Dust baby powder on the buttocks before you work out. Powder can help absorb any excessive sweating that occurs during exercising.
-
5
Wear cotton underwear, because the material allows the skin to breathe and absorbs sweat. Avoid wearing underwear made of synthetic material, as it can irritate the sensitive skin.
-
6
Wash clothing in gentle detergent. Harsh detergent soaps can irritate sensitive skin and make acne worse.
