Things You'll Need:
- Watering can or hose
- Pruning shears
- Flower fertilizer
- Flower pots
-
Step 1
Water your daisies in the early morning. Make sure you are watering the base of the plant and not the flowers to avoid damage. Do not over water--only water when the soil is dry to the touch.
-
Step 2
Fertilize your daisies every other week using a fertilizer specifically formulated for flowers.
-
Step 3
Trim off any dead or dying flowers using pruning shears. Cut off the flowers at the base of the stem.
-
Step 4
Place the flowers in pots and bring indoors before the temperatures drop below 40 degrees F in the winter. Otherwise, you will need to purchase new plants in the spring.
