   Eliminate foods that feed Candida bacteria. Sugary foods, such as candy, juices, white breads and white flour, are the leading contributor to Candida overgrowth, and should be avoided at all costs. Other foods to avoid are cheeses and nuts that may contain mold.

   Take a Probiotic supplement, which you can find at any health foods store or natural foods market in the refrigerated section. Probiotics replenish the healthy bacteria in your digestive tract, creating an environment that allows nutrients to reach your body's organs and systems.

   Take a vitamin C supplement. Vitamin C helps boost your immune system, helping your body fight off infections and eliminate harmful bacteria, such as the Candida bacteria that causes tongue thrush. Vitamin C supplements can be found in chewable form, pill form or in powder form to be mixed with water.
