Things You'll Need:
- Rag
- Water
- Mineral Spirits
- Rubbing Alcohol
- Old toothbrush

Step 1
Put on a mask and goggle to protect you from accidentally getting sprayed in the face. Depending on the material inside the aerosol can you may also want to consider wearing rubber gloves to protect your skin.

Step 2
Check the can and make sure there aren't directions for unclogging the can on it already.

Step 3
Take a rag and wet it with warm water. Gently rub the nozzle to unclog the aerosol can. Periodically test it to see if you are making progress. As long as you are making progress keep at it.

Step 4
If you still can not unclog the aerosol can pull the tip off with a pair of pliers. Try soaking it in either water, mineral spirits, rubbing alcohol, or fingernail polish remover. Some or all of these may work.

Step 5
As it soaks use an old toothbrush to scrub the nozzle to unclog the aerosol can.
