Sprint Picture Mail is a mobile feature that is offered to Sprint customers who own and operate mobile phones with Picture Mail capability. This feature enables Sprint mobile phone users to send and receive digital photos with other compatible users by way of mobile phone. Sprint Picture Mail also supports online access for viewing photos transmitted through mobile phones. The photos taken from the mobile phone can be uploaded and downloaded to your computer's hard drive for enhanced viewing. Accessing this Sprint feature is something anyone can do as long as you have a mobile phone that is equipped with the Picture Mail feature.

      Upload your photo. Access your mobile phone's Camera/Picture Album folder and settings. You can do this by simply pressing the camera button, which usually displays a picture of a camera. This button is generally located along the side of the phone. Pressing this button will redirect you to the Camera/Picture Album folder and settings.

      Scroll down the Camera options list that will appear and select "Picture Album." Locate the picture you plan to upload and select it. A red "X" will appear in the small box that you will see in the right-hand corner of the photo's thumbnail image. Press the "Options" key, which you will see in the bottom-right corner of the mobile phone's screen. Select the "Upload" action to transfer the picture.

      Access the Sprint Picture Mail website online. (Find the link in the Resources section.) When the Sprint Picture Mail homepage loads, select the "Login" link, and enter your phone number in the designated blank data form. To be given a password, select the "No, Send Me a Password" radio button option that will be listed directly under the data form. Click on the "Login" button, and a password will be sent to your phone via SMS text messaging.

      Open the text message that was sent to your mobile phone. It will display a password that will assist you in accessing your Sprint Picture Mail account. Your computer screen will display a page that will prompt you to enter the password you received in the text message. Enter the password in the blank data form and select "OK." If the password is successful, you will be prompted to change this temporary password to a four-digit password of your own. Choose your password, re-enter it in the blank data form and select "OK."

      Enter your mobile phone number and new four-digit password when the homepage reloads. Select "Login" and you will be redirected to your new, personal Picture Mail portal. You should see the first picture you previously uploaded from your phone. This will be your indication that your photos can be effectively uploaded to your portal and that your setup access was done correctly.

Tips & Warnings

  • Have your mobile account information available when you prepare to access your Picture Mail account. You will need this information to open your account online. If you do not have this information, you will be unable to access and view your pictures.

  • Write down your four-digit Sprint password and keep it for your records. This will help you to easily access your account without experiencing problems and delays.

  • Avoid entering the wrong account information when attempting to access your Sprint Picture Mail account. This can result in your account being locked. If this happens, you will have to call Sprint Customer Service to unlock the account.

  • Write down the temporary password sent to your phone via text message. Do not lose this password; otherwise, you will have complete the entire registration process by calling Customer Service.
