How Do You Make Your Guitar Sound Like Pantera's?

Plug the guitar into the distortion pedal.

Plug the distortion pedal into the amp.

Turn the tone and volume knobs on the guitar all the way up.

Adjust the equalizer on the pedal by turning the highs to 8, the lows to 7 and the mid-range to 0.

Set the amp to the same settings as the pedal--high 8, low 7 and mid-range 0.

Tips & Warnings
The key to obtaining this sound is completely removing the mid-range frequency. This gives the crunch that is heard in their sound. Play around with the high and low settings until you are pleased with the sound.
