How to Make a Welcoming Brochure for a Church
Brochures are usually created for one of two reasons: as a promotional tool to market services and products or as an informational piece to notify people about news and events.
A welcoming brochure is a good way to make your church known to the public. A well-designed one will appeal to prospective members by providing information about the church and its programs.

1
Choose a layout for your brochure. Most brochures use a landscape layout. In Microsoft Word, go to "File," "Page Setup," "Orientation" and then choose "Paper Size" and "Landscape."
-
2
Create columns in the word file. Under "Format," choose "Columns" and then the number of columns you desire, such as "Three." This will give you the first page of a six-panel brochure.
-
-
3
Create the second page of the brochure. Under "Insert," click "Break," then choose "Page Break."
-
4
Now it's time to add text to your columns. Use no more than two font styles in your brochure for optimal presentation. Since it's a welcoming brochure, include a welcoming message on the front and place your church's contact info.
-
5
Include information about your church such as service times, programs offered and other things you feel are necessary. Add photos of your church or events to make the brochure interesting.
-
6
Make sure the brochure looks the way you want and then print out the brochures. Now you're ready to distribute them to visitors of your church.
