How to Use OxiClean in the Washer

Since it developed the first baking soda for commercial over 150 years ago, Church & Dwight Company (known for its arm and hammer logo) has been dedicated to developing products for cleaning challenges. One of its most powerful products is OxiClean, developed to fight over 100 types of stains. Especially useful in the laundry room, OxiClean can be added directly to the washer as a cleaning booster. Especially formulated to fight organic stains such as food, wine, coffee and juice, OxiClean in the washer will clean stains you may have missed in pre-treating your clothes.

Things You'll Need

• 2 oz. Oxyclean
• Quart-size container

Instructions

1. Pour 2 oz. of OxiClean into a quart-size container.

2. Add 2 cups of very hot tap water.

3. Mix until all OxiClean crystals are dissolved.

4. Fill the container the rest of the way.

5. Turn on your washer; add OxiClean solution with your regular detergent as the tub is filling.

6. Place clothes into washer and run cycle as usual.

Tips & Warnings

• For front-loading machines, use 1 oz. of OxiClean, mixed as directed, and add to the bleach dispenser.
