How to Tie a Winter Scarf in a Knot
Wearing a winter scarf is a trendy and stylish way to dress up a winter coat. And, because they come in so many different colors, wearing one with a rather dull, dark-colored coat can add a big boost to your winter wardrobe. There are many different ways to wear scarves, and though tying a scarf in a knot is one way, there are several different methods for doing this. Two ways to tie a winter scarf include looping and knotting the scarf and wrapping and knotting the scarf. Does this Spark an idea?

Loop and Knot

Fold the scarf in half lengthwise.

Wrap the folded scarf around the back of your neck.

Pull the loop over one shoulder and the ends over the other shoulder until they meet in front of you.

Place the ends through the loop.

Pull down to make a knot in the scarf.

Stretch the scarf out to its full length.

Place the center of the scarf at the front of your neck.

Throw the ends behind your shoulders.

Cross the ends behind your back and bring one over each shoulder. If the scarf is long enough, you can wrap it more times if needed.

Bring the ends together and cross them in front of you.

Place one end under and through the loop. Pull the ends to tighten the scarf as tightly as you like.
