How to Fold a Doo Rag
A Doo Rag is a thin nylon cloth, in the shape of a skullcap with a tail attached along the nape. The standard color is black and is usually priced at less than $3. It is mainly used by young urban Americans, designed to keep hair securely in place, but, with the Doo Rag now available in an array of colors, it has recently gained favor as a fashion trend in hip-hop culture. Because a Doo Rag is made of a flexible, almost sheer, material, it is very easy to slip in a small bag or even a pocket to keep up with. Does this Spark an idea?

Find the crown seam and the peak on the Doo Rag. The crown seam is a vertical seam (may be invisible) that symmetrically divides the Doo Rag in equal halves. The peak is at the beginning of the crown seam that would normally rest at the center of the brow when wearing the Doo Rag.
-
2
Hold the peak of the Doo Rag with the index and thumb fingers.
-
-
3
Hold the diameter of the skullcap part with other hand, and the Doo Rag will resemble the profile of a head.
-
4
Line up the side tie strings on the Doo Rag and then pull straight out.
-
5
Fold the nape upward until it reaches the diameter of the skullcap part and use the tie strings to wrap around the folded Doo Rag.
-
6
Tuck the tail end of the tie strings under the looped strings and store anywhere on the go.
