Finger boards are mini boards like skateboards, scooters, wakeboards and snowboards. With finger boards comes the need for mini accessories like mini ramps, rails, decks and quarter pipes. If you are a finger board enthusiast you can buy a quarter pipe for your finger boards or you can choose to make your own quarter pipe for your finger boards.

Difficulty: Moderately Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • Utility knife
  • Black electrical tape
  • Tissue box
  • Tape measure
  1. Step 1

Find a tissue box. Take an empty standard long tissue box, like a Target brand 250-count box, and cut it in half with a utility knife. This will leave you with a cardboard piece that is open on one side and approximately 4-by-5-by-4 inches. This is what you will use to make your quarter pipe.

  2. Step 2

Make a slope in the box. To give your piece a quarter pipe form you will need to slope the sides of the cardboard piece. Take your utility knife and begin cutting an upward arch from the corner where the bottom meets the side. Cut all the way to the top. You should have around two inches on the top so that you will have a platform.

  3. Step 3

Measure out the tape. Take your tape measure and measure out enough black electrical tape to cover from the top of the slope to the bottom of the slope. Don't put the tape on the quarter pipe until it is filled.

  4. Step 4

Fill the inside of the quarter pipe. You will want to make sure that your quarter pipe can withstand plenty of action from your finger boards. To make it durable you will want to fill it with something like cotton balls or even old socks. Fill the inside completely.

  5. Step 5

Tape the quarter pipe. To give the quarter pipe extra durability and more cosmetic beauty you will cover it with the black electrical tape. You will put tape over the opening to keep the filling inside and you will cover the sides and the slope with the tape. Once the tape is completely applied you will have a quarter pipe that you can use with your finger boards.
