After you have finished golfing or laying by the pool, you have stuffed yourself at a buffet or lost your money in a slot machine, now it is time for you to see a Vegas show. There are few places on the planet if any that offer you the wide variety of entertainment that Las Vegas does. In this article I will give you a brief look into the different types of shows that are available in Las Vegas.

  1. Step 1

    First, if concerts are your thing, yiu can purchase tickets to see performers such as Cher, Bette Midler, Barry Manlow, Elton John, Wayne Newton and Tony Bennett. If you like bands many of the top rock bands perform from time to time such as the Eagles. If vintage rock is your thing you can catch, Frankie Avalon, The Everly Brothers, and Bill Medley of Righteous Brothers fame.

  2. Step 2

    Second, if you want to laugh,Vegas is the place for you. Most of the top comedians do shows in Vegas. At any given time you can see performances by Jay Leno, David Spade Jerry Seinfeld, Ray Ramono Howie Mandell and Chris Rock. Many hotels also have smaller lounge acts with very good up and coming comedians.

    Third, for those of you who love magic, Vegas has more great magicians than anywhere else. You haven't lived if you haven't seen routines by David Copperfield, Criss Angel, and Penn & Teller.

  4. Step 4

    Fourth, one of the biggest sensations to hit the Vegas strip are the Cirque Du Soliel shows. These shows combine art, mysticism, surrealistic contortionists. and great music and lighting to give you a show you will never forget. These shows include "O" at the Bellagio, Love, at the Mirage, Mystere at Treasure Island, Zumanity at New York New York, and Ka at the MGM Grand. Some of the shows may be appropriate for kids and some may not. So check before you purchase tickets. But on your next trip to Vegas make sure you catch at least one of these productions.

  5. Step 5

    Fifth, you can catch one of the large musical burlesque shows that made Vegas famous. You have show girls, fantastic costumes, great music and dancing and a bunch of old burlesque routines. These shows are for those of you who are over 18.

  6. Step 6

    Lastly, you don't have to go to Broadway to see a play. Vegas offers you a variety of theater productions. Such as Phantom of the Opera, Tony and Tina's Wedding, Mama Mia and many other Broadway shows.
