Things You'll Need:
- Photos of jobs you've done
- Resume/experience
- References
- Pricing sheet
- Bonding/ insurance information
- Business card
- 3 ring binder with protective sleeves
- Contact sheet
-
Step 1
Place your resume and experience information in one of the protective sleeves, so that you see the printed page front and back. This is going to be the first page of your portfolio. Place it in the binder.
-
Step 2
Insert the pricing sheet and bonding/insurance info in the next sleeve and place it in the binder behind the first page. This lets potential clients see right away what you have to offer as a business.
-
Step 3
Make the third sleeve your list of references. This list should include all of your current clients, past clients that you feel will give a positive reference, as well as noting what sort of lawn care jobs you do for each of them.
-
Step 4
Place photos of lawns you maintain into sleeves. Preferably, include before and after shots so that your potential clients can see the difference you made.
-
Step 5
Add a final sleeve to your portfolio that lets the potential client know how to contact you. Include phone numbers, web site, e-mail, and any other way they can reach you to schedule an appointment or to ask questions.
