1
Scrub the palms of your hands with 1 tsp. powdered soap, such as laundry detergent or dish-washing powder. The granules will remove unnatural orange from palms and under fingernails.
-
2
Shower in warm water to open pores. Exfoliate streaky skin with a sugar scrub, loofah or other exfoliator.

3
Leave skin damp and rub a cut lemon onto the dark or streaky area. Lemons contain natural acids that will help the skin release the tanning solution.
-
4
Rub your damp skin with baking soda after rubbing on the lemon. The lemon and baking soda mixture will rub away excess tanning solution and brighten the skin naturally.

5
File darkened heels and toe areas with a foot file gently to remove the top layer of skin and provide a lighter, more natural appearance.
