If you have frizzy hair, styling your hair can be a daily battle. Blow drying your hair may be a painful and dreaded experience. If your hair is frizzy after you blow dry it, follow the steps outlined in this article to help you keep frizz at bay. You'll be able to skip the damaging heating tools and just use the blow dryer to smooth your hair into a frizz-free style.

Difficulty: Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • Defrizzing shampoo and conditioner
  • Wide-toothed comb
  • Defrizz mousse
  • Defrizz shine serum
  • Hair clip
  • Blow dryer
  • Big, round brush
  1. Step 1

Shampoo and condition your hair while you're in the shower.

  2. Step 2

Towel dry your hair and comb it out with a wide-toothed comb.

  3. Step 3

Rub a palm full of mousse through your hair. Comb your hair again with the wide-toothed comb.

  4. Step 4

Apply the hair shine serum. It won't take much serum to fight the frizz in your hair.

  5. Step 5

Make a horizontal part along the lower part of your head. The hair from the bottom of your ear down should be combed out and ready to blow dry. Clip up the rest of your hair.

  6. Step 6

Pick up the round brush and place it underneath a section of your hair. Pull down from the scalp with the round brush in one hand, and blow dry the section of hair in the brush with the other hand.

  7. Step 7

Continue to pull the round brush out and back into your hair until your hair is dry.

  8. Step 8

Pull down another section of hair and repeat the process. When you're finished blow drying, your hair will be bouncy, voluminous and frizz-free.

Tips & Warnings
  • Hold the blow dryer close to your hair as you brush it with the round brush. Finish with a light finishing spray to help seal your style.
  • Avoid getting the defrizz hair serum on your scalp. It will cause your scalp to appear oily and unwashed.
