1. Create a princess-themed bedroom for your little princesses with pastel walls in shades of lavender or yellow, single white canopy beds and a play area shaped like a castle. Paint a castle mural or add their favorite Disney princess decals on the walls to individualize the space. Coordinating bed linens in your children's favorite colors can further personalize their bedroom.

2. Get a little spacey for an out of this world bedroom décor that's sure to please multiple children. Paint the ceiling and at least one wall a rich shade of blue with decals of galaxies, stars and planets. Lofted beds allow for deep space exploration and also make room for work or entertainment centers beneath. Hang mobiles designed as planets and add glow in the dark constellations on the ceiling. Buy a star for each child and hand the resulting certificates in personalized frames.

3. Create a destination room with posters, artifacts and crafts from each of the children's favorite faraway places. The overall theme is "travel and explore," with individualized countries depicted in posters and pictures on the walls and in the color selections for the bedding. Paint the walls a neutral beige or yellow as a background to the vibrant colors of Morocco or the bright blue mountains of Tibet. Let your children assist in the contributions of their select country through research, both online and through trips to local museums and libraries.
