      Download CCleaner and install.

      Double-click the CCleaner shortcut icon placed on your desktop after installation.

      Left-click the "Registry" icon located on the left side of the program window.

      Click the "Scan for Issues" button located at the bottom middle of the program window.

      Once the scanning is completed, click the "Fix Selected Issues" button located at the bottom of the program window.

      Shut down the CCleaner software and restart to computer once the corrections are complete.

Tips & Warnings

  • Do not deselect any of the scanning options if it's the first time you have scanned for registry issues.

  • Be sure to restart after the you have fixed the selected issues as registry setting changes require a restart to take effect.
