How to Delete Album Artwork in iTunes

It's not difficult at all to remove album artwork from your iTunes tracks. In just a few quick, simple steps, the artwork file connected with your specific mp3s can be eliminated forever.

Difficulty: Easy
Instructions
  1. Step 1

    Open iTunes and select a track from an album whose artwork you would like to delete.

  2. Step 2

    Right-click on the track and select "Get Info" from the new menu.

  3. Step 3

    In the new window, select the "Artwork" tab.

  4. Step 4

    In the new window, highlight the artwork and click "Delete." Then click "OK." This will delete the artwork for the album that contains your selected track.

Tips & Warnings
  • If you want your artwork back, highlight a track, right-click it and select "Get Album Artwork" in the menu that opens. iTunes will automatically search for available artwork for that album.
