Difficulty: Moderately Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • Beading wire (.015 gauge)
  • Wire cutters
  • Tape measure
  • 8 crimp beads
  • Crimping pliers
  • Closure clasp
  • Seed beads (size 11) (one color or variety, your choice)
  • Crystal beads (6 mm) (color to compliment seed beads)
  1. Step 1

Cut four 8-inch lengths of beading wire with the wire cutters.

  2. Step 2

Place a crimp bead onto one length of beading wire at the end. Add one half of the closure clasp and thread the wire back through the crimp bead. Adjust the wire so that only a very short tail remains on the other side of the crimp bead and crimp the crimp bead with the crimping pliers. Clip off the excess wire tail immediately after the crimped bead.

  3. Step 3

Repeat Step 2 with the remaining three lengths of beading wire so that you have four lengths of beading wire attached to the first half of the closure clasp.

  4. Step 4

String 1 inch of seed beads onto each of the four beading wires.

  5. Step 5

Add one crystal bead onto all four beading wires together. This will bring all four strands together inside the crystal bead.

  6. Step 6

Repeat Steps 4 and 5 until approximately 1 inch of beading wires remains.

  7. Step 7

Place a crimp bead onto one length of beading wire. Add the second half of the closure clasp and thread the wire back through the crimp bead. Adjust the wire so that all of the beads are snug along the entire length of the beading wire. Crimp the crimp bead with the pliers and clip off the excess wire immediately after the crimped bead.

  8. Step 8

Repeat Step 7 with the remaining three lengths of beading wire to finish the woven bracelet.
