Stay Safe When Exercising
Stay Safe When Exercising

Exercising is great for your health; however, if you don't stay safe while doing it, you can be doing more damage than good. You have to realize that your body exhausts from exercise, so you have to take care of it.

Difficulty: Moderate
Instructions
  1. Step 1

When you exercise you will most likely sweat, which means if you don't drink enough liquids you will get dehydrated and possibly pass out. So whenever you exercise, bring a bottle of water or whatever you enjoy and drink every few minutes. Don't wait until you're thirsty and don't forget to refill the bottle.

  2. Step 2

If you're a diabetic, take your glucose machine with you as well as your medicines. Test your sugar more often and adjust your medicine as needed.

  3. Step 3

Wear comfortable shoes for your exercise; if you're walking, running, riding a bike, etc. If you're roller blading, make sure your skates fit comfortably.

  4. Step 4

Don't exercise in secluded areas; meaning don't run in a park in the middle of the night if it's empty, don't exercise in an isolated alley, etc. No matter how brave you are, things happen. So remember, it's better to be safe than sorry.
