How to View E-mail Attachments That Aren't Supported by America Online

Go to your AOL screen.

Open the File menu and select Open.

Make sure the "Look in" box says (C:). If it doesn't, click the down arrow next to the box and choose (C:).

Scroll to your AOL folder.

Click it.

Click the Open button.

Click the Download folder.

Click on the arrow next to "Files of type."

Click on the up arrow when the list comes down and choose All Files.

Right-click once on the file you want.

Tips & Warnings
You can find all your files that don't show up on AOL this way, not just the ones you download from e-mail.
You can't just double-click on a file that isn't AOL-supported. You have to right-click and use Open, or it won't work.
If you ever download a file from an e-mail and don't know what folder it went to, bring up the e-mail and pretend you are going to download it again. That will take you to the folder where it is.
