Step 1
Stages or being a writerWe all should realize that every writer is in a different stage of their writinghood. That doesn't make them a bad writer but a developing one. They have not reached the platform maybe that they are meant to reach. It's a process. Don't put them down, because you may once have been where they are now. Encourage them to become the writer they are meant to be.
-
Step 2
Don't be a know it all writer!Don't be a know it all and think you have arrived. It will show in your writing as well and it's a huge turnoff to other writers. Spending so much time on your ego will surely make you miss something in your writing that you might have achieved.
-
Step 3
If you feel your writing is not up to par, don't go around pointing fingers at other peoples writing skills. Work on your own skills. You will never be the writer you want to be until you spend time, serious time, working at it. Find a mentor who can help you be successful! Hard work at writing pays off, but doesn't come easy.
-
Step 4
Don't judge.Don't judge someones writing by your own standards. No one has the right to do this. You have to realize that there are many styles of writing and not everyone writes the same. They hire editors to judge in this area.
