As you increase your body temperature, you will increase the rate you sweat. In order to fight off dehydration and keep your body temperature up, drink plenty of fluids. Stay clear of cold fluids such as milk or juice, and stick to hot liquids such as tea or broth (or 1 c hot water and 1 bouillon cube). You will want to stay under the blankets at least over night.

Chicken soup actually can help boost your immune system and the hot broth in the soup is also needed to keep you hydrated.
