When you're pregnant you need 300-500 extra calories a day to satiate the demands of your body, but don't feel like you have to take it all in at once. Instead of eating huge meals and feeling really full, eat smaller more frequent meals throughout the day.

Morning sickness is almost inevitable when you're pregnant, but if you cut out really greasy foods, highly acidic foods or spicy foods you may help reduce how bad the nausea gets.

Peppermint or ginger. Both of these may help with the nausea. Sucking on a peppermint or make ginger tea. Both of these can have a soothing effect to your stomach.

Rest. You're pregnant, your body is working really hard to nurture and sustain a growing baby. Don't be afraid or feel guilty to rest when you need to. Just taking the time to relax can help settle your stomach. Take it easy, your body is working overtime right now.
