How to Make Banana Pudding Pops

When it gets hot outside freezer pops are a good way to get more fruit and milk into your diet. Kids especially will love these cool banana pudding summer treats and adults too. Pudding and fruits blend and freeze well together.

Difficulty: Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • Instant banana pudding mix
  • ripe banana
  • fork, plate & cup with spout
  • milk
  • freezer space
  1. Step 1
     mashed banana

    Cut one ripe banana in half. Peel and mash with a fork on a plate.

  2. Step 2

    Pour 1 cup of milk into a large measuring cup. Any type of milk will work. You can use whatever kind of milk fits into your diet.

  3. Step 3

    Add the mashed banana and 3 Tablespoons of dry instant banana pudding mix powder. Mix well.

  4. Step 4

    Pour into freezer popsicle makers. Add lids.
    Place in the freezer section of the refrigerator.
    This small batch made 6 pops of the size you see here.

  5. Step 5

    After they are frozen solid, remove them from the freezer and
    run warm water over the outside of the one you want to remove until it slides out easily.

  6. Step 6

    Call the kids and eat and enjoy.

  7. Step 7

    Adjust the amounts of each ingredient according to your taste.
    Use different fruits and pudding flavors for a variety of frozen treats. Increase the size of the batch to fill the number of containers you have.

Tips & Warnings
  • If a batch does not fill all the pop maker spaces pour other kinds of juice to fill them.
  • Bananas that are starting to get ripe can quickly be saved by freezing.
  • Make sure the kids return the pop inserts.
  • You can buy a bag of popsicle sticks at craft stores if you lose the inserts.
  • The kids will be bugging you waiting for them to freeze so they can eat them.
  • Make sure to clean pop makers thoroughly before reusing.
