Know if Your Spouse is Cheating
Know if Your Spouse is Cheating

They say love is blind. When we are in love, we tend to turn the other way and ignore the signs of deception. Or is it just innocent behavior? Here are some tips on how to know if you spouse is cheating.

Difficulty: Moderately Easy
Instructions
  1. Step 1

Usually the first sign of infidelity is a sudden decrease in your sexual relationship. Or unexplainable scratches on back or possibly neck. And, if you do have sex, he/she suddenly wants to try new sexual positions that you guys have never done before.

  2. Step 2

Changes in behavior. You notice your spouse becomes distant. Does not want to be around you, is easily annoyed or uncomfortable with you. Easily picks fights with you.

  3. Step 3

He/She is not where they said they were going to be. Can't explain what they have done all day or consistently changing their story. Caught in little lies about what they did that day.

  4. Step 4

Frequent hang up or private calls to your home. Your spouse deletes incoming/outgoing calls when they never use to before. Your spouse turns off the cell phone when he/she comes home. Or, you spouse gets paranoid or angry when you attempt to look or pick up his/her cell phone.

  5. Step 5

Consistently saying they are working late. Odd work schedules, or excessive overtime that is not accounted for on paychecks. Frequent over-night stays at friends/relatives house or out of town "work-related trips." Or, when your spouse went to work in the morning, the gas gauge was at a full tank. But when he returned home at his normal time, the gas gauge is almost at empty. And you know it does not take that much gas to go to and from work!!

  6. Step 6

You notice new lingere or intimate apparel. Unexplainable gifts. New or different scent of perfume/cologne. More concerned about his/her appearance.

  7. Step 7

Your spouse becomes secretive. Passwords on his/her cell phone or computer. Hides the cell phone or credit card bill. And whispers on the phone or suddenly hangs up when you walk in the room.

Tips & Warnings
  • Review cell phone bills and look for numbers that are unusual or not familiar. Look at consistency and times of day. Was it the same number at the same time every day?
  • Review credit card statements for conspicuous charges. Also, look at the dates of the charges and where the charge was made.
  • When you do laundry, you notice clothes missing. Especially undergarments.
  • Be careful as you can look too controlling.
  • Can be accused of snooping.
  • Being overly jealous.
  • Being unable to have trust in a relationship.
