Vaporizers help extract the active ingredients found in natural herbs for inhalation. Make your own wooden vaporizer in very little time, with a few simple materials.

Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • 2 liter bottle with removable black base
  • ¾-inch plywood
  • 3 wooden dowels
  • Brass bowl
  • Silicone
  • Varnish
  • Wood screws
  • Soldering iron
  • Saw
  • Ruler
  • Erill
  • Screwdriver
  • Xacto knife
  1. Step 1

Draw an equilateral triangle on the ¾-inch plywood that's 8 inches on every side. Cut out the triangular shape with a hacksaw or a circular saw.

  2. Step 2

Varnish the wood and allow it to dry for 24 hours. Consider staining the wood or using polyurethane coating. While the stain/varnish is drying, cut the dowels into 8-inch sections.

  3. Step 3

Mark the center of the plywood triangle with a pencil. Label the uppermost part of the triangle "top" and the bottommost part of the triangle "bottom."

  4. Step 4

Drill a hole in the center of the triangle using a bit that is slightly larger than the soldering iron being used for the project. This allows for the soldering iron's handle to easily fit through the drilled hole.

  5. Step 5

Flip the piece of wood over. Mark each point of the triangle 1 cm below the vertex.

  6. Step 6

Drill a hole in each of the newly-marked points. Use a drill bit that's the same size as the width of the dowels. Slip a single dowel into each hole for the legs. Set the wood aside.

  7. Step 7

Remove the base from the 2 liter plastic bottle and cut out the middle section with an Xacto knife. Position the base over the top side of the wooden base. Screw the base to the wood.

  8. Step 8

Use silicone to fill any cracks, crevices or gaps in the black base. Pull the soldering iron up through the hole.

  9. Step 9

Cut a piece from the bottom of the remaining 2-liter bottle that fits into the whole in the black piece.
