1
The first step to embed music on your website is to select the music that you want to embed on the site. You can select music from your favorite CD or an Mp3 from your Mp3 player.
-
2
Insert into your computer's CD drive the CD containing the music you want to embed on your website.
-
-
3
Open the file directory that is located inside of your website's control panel.
-
4
Click "Upload New File." The wording may slightly vary. Click "Browse." Select the drive for your CD player. You will see a list of all of the music tracks on your CD. Select the music you want to embed on your website. Click "Upload." If you are using music from your Mp3 player, you will need to connect a USB cable from your Mp3 player to your computer. The only difference is that instead of selecting the drive for your CD player, you will select the USB drive for your Mp3 player.
-
5
"Right Click" on the music file after it has been uploaded into your directory. Select "Properties." Copy or write down the web address for the file. The address should end with .mp3.
-
6
Open your file directory again and click on the page of your website that you would like to embed music on. This should open up the HTML editor. Enter the embed code into your HTML editor to embed music on the page. I can't place the exact code on this site because HTML code is not allowed. However, I have included a link below that will give you the embed code. All you need to do is edit it to show the address for your .mp3 file.
-
7
Save the changes that you made to the page. You should now be able to click on the page and hear the music playing.

Tips & Warnings
There are many websites that will allow you to create a music playlist using music files they already have online. Two of them are Imeem & Project Playlist. After creating your playlist, you will need to look for the word "Embed," or something to that effect. You will see the embed code that you can copy and paste into your HTML editor to embed the music playlist on your website.
