Strawberries are a natural remedy for people with acne who want to get rid of it. Many people and myself use a home made strawberry mask to be rid of acne, and it works very well. It is also very very easy to make! Strawberries are used for conditioning and toning the skin. The ingredient found in strawberries that help acne is salicylic acid, an ingredient found in many commercial acne creams, But a natural and organic way of getting it!

Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • Fresh strawberries
  • Sour cream
  1. Step 1

    Go to the grocery store and pick up a package of fresh strawberries and a some sour cream.

  2. Step 2

    Next thing your going to do it take 1/2 cup of strawberries and mash them all up. On top of this you are going to add one tablespoon of sour cream and mix it all together. Leave the mask on for 20 minutes you should wash off with warm water and finish with cold. This mask should last you about 1 week.

  3. Step 3

    If you don't have sour cream, all you have to do is cut the strawberries in half and rub both sides all over your face, but gently. Leave this on for 20 minutes as well. Then wash off with warm water and finish with cold. You may want to put on a moisturizer after this.

Tips & Warnings
  • Use fresh strawberries
  • Use sour cream that hasn't expired.
  • Don't leave mask or just strawberry juice over 20 minutes because it may dry your skin out.
