Many people have been introduced to tater tot casserole from watching the Duggar family on TLC. This tater tot casserole recipe is based on the Duggar's recipe, but it's not the same one. Does this Spark an idea?

  • 1/4 onion
  • shredded cheese

Instructions

    • 1

Cook the ground beef or ground turkey. While it's cooking add a bit of shredded onion.

    • 2

Drain the ground beef and put it in a 9×13 pan.

    • 3

Add the cream of chicken soup and milk to the pan. Mix everything together. (You can substitute cream of mushroom for cream of chicken according to your tastes).

    • 4

Sprinkle cheese over the pan. Sprinkle as much cheese as you feel is necessary. The cheesier it is, the better it tastes. Remember this is not an everyday meal so you don't have to freak out about the cheese.

    • 5

Cover the pan with tater tots, and sprinkle a bit more cheese over the top.

    • 6

Bake in the oven for one hour at 350.

    • 7

Remove from the oven and enjoy.

Tips & Warnings

  • You do not have to use cheese for the recipe but it tastes better that way

  • Do not put the tater tots on the bottom of the pan. They will be soggy and nasty.
