If you are a vegetarian, then you will love tofurkey! This is not only for vegetarians though, a lot of meat lovers really enjoy this meal! Taste very good with a mix of fruit such as orange juice, cherries, apricots, and berries. The fruit should be used as stuffing.

Difficulty: Moderately Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • Tofurkey
  • bread pan
  • apple (slice very thin)
  • cup dried or frozen berries
  • cup of crushed walnuts
  • cup of all natural juice
  • 1/2 cup apricots
  • 1/2 cup soy sauce
  1. Step 1

Preheat the oven to 375, we are going to cook for about 3 hours here. Get your berries and walnuts into a separate bowl. Add the apricots too.

  2. Step 2

Take your apple and thinly cut it into slices. These can be added into the baking process for stuffing or served fresh and uncooked at the end of baking the tofurkey.

  3. Step 3

Now get a sheet of tin foil, and make a bowl/pouch so it can hold the tofurkey and juices along with the fruit. Put the fruit, berries, walnuts, orange juice, and soy sauce in the pouch.

  4. Step 4

After everything is inside the tin foil bowl/pouch you made, wrap it up tightly with another piece of tin foil. You can make another layer of fruit and juices by wrapping more tinfoil.

  5. Step 5

Put you wrapped tofurkey on the bread pan and into the oven, turn the tofurkey every 20 minutes.
