Things You'll Need:
- Don't be intimidated by this list. You can improvise for the things you don't have.
- Broccoli
- Sour Cream
- Celery
- Leaks
- Carrot
- Zucchini
- Tomato
- Goya Red Seasoning
- Salt
- Pepper
- Hot sauce
- Ketchup
- Mustard
-
Step 1
The first thing you need to do is cut up all your hard vegetables; the ones that will take longer to cook. So get one celery and one long carrot and cut them into half inch pieces. Then pour them into a medium size pan; add half a cup of water.
-
Step 2
After about five minutes, cut a small zucchini and one small tomato into half inch pieces. Throw them in with the celery and carrots. Depending on how well you like leaks, you can throw them in now so that they will start disappearing with the rest of the vegetables or you can wait a few minutes and then throw them in after cutting them to about an inch each piece.
-
Step 3
Keep the heat on low and add another half a cup of hot water. Let everything boil for about five minutes, then add some black peppers and salt, the amount you prefer.
-
Step 4
After that, add half a small packet of red seasoning, which along with the tomato will give the sauce some coloring. Then add two teaspoons of sour cream, one tablespoon of ketchup, one teaspoon of mustard and one and a half teaspoons of hot sauce (depending on how much you like, you can add more or less).
-
Step 5
Stir everything for a few minutes on high heat until most of the water has disappeared. Don't let the ingredients dry too much, leave some, even if a little bit of water at the bottom of the pan. Stir occasionally for another minute and then shut off the heat.
-
Step 6
This sauce would probably serve 2-3 people with pasta. Enjoy!
