Meet all qualifications. In the state of Missouri, you must be at least 23 years old, qualify for a MO Driver's License or Non-Driver's License, and have lived in the state of Missouri for at least six months. You must also have a criminal record clean of any offenses that would keep you from owning a gun.

Complete a firearms safety training program class taught by a certified instructor. You can find these programs by searching the internet or calling your local sheriff's office. Expect to pay around $100 - $200 for the class.

Submit your CCW application and proof of training class completion to your local sheriff's office. You will also need to pay an application fee of $100 (this amount may vary depending on your location).

Wait for application approval. It can take up to 45 days to receive approval or denial from the sheriff.
