Step 1
imageThe first step in practicing the presence of paradise is to prepare for paradise. What is paradise? Paradise in this case is a tropical island saturated in sun light with mild warmth, clear blue skies with some white puffy clouds, clear water with various shades of blue and green, mild waves, palm trees, a wide range of flowers and vegetation, beaches, and birds. Ideally, spending some time on a real tropical island can help provide the experience of being in paradise. Reading up on such locations and watching videos also helps. The point is to saturate yourself - allow yourself to be influenced by your experiences. If there are any hawaiian clubs or polynesian clubs in your area, you can attend events associated with island culture.

Step 2
imageThe second step is to practice. This may involve changing a wall, room or dwelling to a paradise theme. Having an environment helps to reinforce your themed practice. The use of flowers (real or not), shells, drawings, paintings, and items that remind you of the tropics.Periodic exposure to island music is helpful too. Start visualizing tropical islands. Drawing what you visualize can be helpful.

Step 3
imageFirst steps pertaining to visualization may require quiet locations. Perhaps, background island music can help. The next step is to practice visualizations in areas that are a bit more distracting. Perhaps you are riding on a bus. You hear highway sounds but you practice visualizing. Creating a wide range of island scenes to visualize can help you begin to visualize in distracting environments.

on 5/18/2009 Also, what if paradise ("in this case") doesn't come with humid conditions that cause severe problems to the human system then what could we visualize?Been there done that never want to do it again, sincerely but love the good music ideas as a form of "feeling" paradisical...lol :)
