Things You'll Need:
- A budget for you new swimsuit
- some magazines or store circulars
- the Internet (helpful but not necessary)
-
Step 1
Set a budget. Swimsuits can vary a great deal in price so before you even start your hunt, set a limit that fits your budget.
-
Step 2
Decide what style you want your swimsuit to be. If you are very confident with your body, go for the bikini. If you have areas you would rather conceal, look for options with your suit. For instance, to conceal your upper thighs and rear, think about the skirtini. If you need some extra support on top, consider a halter style. If you want to conceal your tummy, you could look at the tankini or a one piece with a tummy panel built in.
-
Step 3
Next, do your homework. Look through weekly shopping ads and the Internet to find a variety of swim wear that you like.
-
Step 4
Finally, take a trusted friend shopping with you. Give yourself plenty of time to hunt for those suits you saw in the flyers and online, and try them on. Ask your friends honest oponion and if the suit fits in the budget you set, purchase the suit you love and feel good in!
