How to Select an Epilator
Not all epilators are equal. There are powerful epilators that simply pull the hair out from the root. There are small epilators that sometimes yank the hair out. There are gentle epilators that reduce the feeling of the hair removal but take longer to complete the job. Does this Spark an idea?

Decide how quickly you want to remove the hair. If the area is not that sensitive a powerful epilator can be used to to quickly and effectively remove the hair.

If an area is sensitive, it may be better to buy an epilator that says it is more gentle. Gentle epilators tend to pull the hairs out much more softly. Therefore, it may take multiple pulls per hair before the hair comes out. This means that each area will have to be epilated multiple times before it becomes smooth.
Sensitive skin requires a gentle epilator if pain and bleeding occur when the hair is removed.

There are really small epilators for use in sensitive areas, but these really are not that great. Because the epilator is really small, the tweezers spin really fast and yank the hair out rather roughly. It is better to use either a full power epilator or a gentle epilator in the sensitive locations rather than tiny epilators.

For sensitive areas that hurt when a hair is pulled look for a sensitive epilator with a screen. The screen helps to hold the skin while the tweezers pull out the hair. The less the skin gets stretched the less irritation will be caused by the epilator.
