Use Google analytics to track your traffic. The more traffic you can show visiting your blog on a daily basis, the higher the value of your blog. Google analytics a simple to install and if you ever want to sell your blog you can show proof of how much traffic you are getting.

Search engine rankings are key indicators as to how valuable your blog is. If your blog is about apple pies and somebody searches "apple pies" in Google's search engine, you should be coming up on page 1 or 2. If you're apple pie website is 30 pages deep in the search results -- there won't be much value in that.

On Dane Carlson's Business Opportunities Weblog there is an applet that will tell you how much your blog is worth (see Resources) Simply type in the URL of your blog, hit submit and see your results. This will give you a rough idea of the value of your blog.

on 10/23/2009 I never thought of this before. I have one up with my work on it but I want others for special things that mean alot to me. These blogs will just be for reading just for entertaining. I guess I have alot to say.I want to get the word out there on certain topics. If there not worth any money, then hope its worth alot to the readers who read them. 5*
