How to Clean Up Your Neighborhood
Residents all over the country take pride in the appearance and cleanliness of the neighborhood area which they represent. Unfortunately, individuals often do not have time to clean up the area and make it a more attractive place to live. In order to clean up your neighborhood, organize a clean-up event and gather people from all over town to help.

1
Organize a neighborhood clean-up. Check out the weather for the days in which you desire the event to take place. Make sure there will be no extreme heat, rain, snow or other harsh weather that will prevent you from getting the job done.
-
2
Hang flyers with duct tape along the path in which you plan to take during the cleaning day. Specify the date, time and location where everyone should meet up in order to perform a neighborhood cleaning.
-
-
3
Show up at the specified location with extra garbage bags. Explain to everyone the route everyone should take to clean up the neighborhood. Ask individuals to take their full garbage bags home when finished cleaning in order to avoid gathering a large amount of garbage in one location.
-
4
Pick up garbage, bottles, paper and other scraps on the ground. Remove flyers and duct tape from the trees or poles during the clean-up process.
-
5
Throw away garbage and recycle items when finished. Recycle all plastics, paper products, aluminum and glass items collected.
