Things You'll Need:
- DVD Decrypter
- DVD Shrink
- ImgBurn

Step 1
Download the three pieces of software that are required for this process - DVD Decrypter, DVD shrink, and imgBurn. Run a google search for each. They are all free, and they have relatively small file sizes.

Load your DVD into your computer. Then, run DVD Decrypter. Click Mode and then File from the Menu Bar. Choose the destination folder - create a folder on your desktop and use that folder. Finally, click the "DVD to Hard Drive" button which will start the decryption process.

Step 3
Run DVD Shrink. The program will compress DVD files so they can fit on a 4.7 GB disc. See which options best suit you. You can remove the main menu from the DVD, as well as additional audio tracks or subtitles. The program will automatically compress the video. Hit the back up button and files will be transferred to your destination folder.

Step 4
Use imgBurn, a simple yet powerful tool, to burn the new DVD files onto a single layer DVD.
