2. Use the internet site Wink Canada to find people in any of the territories. This site allows you to search by gender and age in addition to first and last names. The site offers a service to find people online by their personal profile in various social networking websites.

3. Try publishing a newspaper advertisement in the missing people section. These ads were used long before the internet to locate people. Contact the main newspaper in the territory or the province where the person may be living now or where the person last resided, and post your ad.

4. Visit the Yellow Pages internet site at 411canada.ca to search for people. This site lets you do a people search by "reverse address", "reverse telephone" and "proximity search". You'll need an address, a telephone or fax or a person's name to do a search on the site. Use the "Advanced Search" option to enter more details about the person.

5. Put all your findings together and do some validating and eliminating. The search results will probably show more than one person with the same first and last name. Perform some filtering to get the person you are looking for; filter by person's age and location for example.
