Patients that have been diagnosed with cancer may qualify for medical marijuana. There are several factors that are involved in the doctors decision on whether a patient with cancer would benefit from medical marijuana. This should be discussed with your doctor to find out if you pre qualify.

Patients with Glaucoma qualify, due to the fact that marijuana has been proven to help relieve some of the pressure.

Patients that suffer from cachexia, severe muscle spasms, severe pain or seizures can qualify for medical marijuana.

Patients that suffer from what is considered to be a chronic or debilitating illness qualify for medical marijuana. Many illnesses are not currently listed as chronic or debilitating in Nevada, but doctors can petition on behalf of the patient if they believe their condition should qualify.
