create address labels with Microsoft Word

This is a step by step on how to create address labels using Microsoft Word. I use Word to create my labels on a weekly basis.

Difficulty: Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • Microsoft Word, Printer, and Labels
  1. Step 1

Open up the program Microsoft Word.

  2. Step 2

Go to Tools and then Letters and Mailing. A little window will pop up and click on Envelopes and Labels

  3. Step 3

A bigger window will not pop up. There will be two options separated by tabs, the first one is envelops and the second tab is labels. Since we are creating labels go ahead and click on the second tab.

  4. Step 4

In the address window go ahead and type the address that you want to print.

  5. Step 5

Before you print click on options, here you can pick the exact printer labels that you are printing on. For me I'm printing on the Avery 8250 label.

  6. Step 6

Make sure you have your printer labels In your printer and go ahead and print your labels.
