on 10/17/2009 Thanks for so much information on firewood. My mom burns wood every winter and she likes the oak. She lives in Tenn. where it is real cold in the winter and the oak wood helps the fire last longer through the night. I think the other is pine during the daytime. I really enjoyed reading about the different kinds of wood. Very informative, thanks. 5*
