Step 1
Start your auctions at .99 cents with no reserve. I cannot tell you how many times I had items listed for $4.99 that did not sell and I would turn around and re-list them at .99 and they would sell for $15.00+. The lower your starting price the more people get involved. The more people that get involved the more traffic that it drives to your auction and that potential buyer might check out your other items listed.

Step 2
Promote your slow moving items online. Twitter is an amazing business tool for advertising. Also check out auction bump websites and add your item. Just Google the words auction bump to check out the various auction bump websites.

Step 3
If you own an eBay store, use the Markdown Manager feature to create sales on some of your higher priced eBay items that are not selling. If you have watchers on that item and they notice a sale that might trigger them to buy before it is to late.

Step 4
Run a charity auction for the items. You will receive more exposure through the eBay giving works website. E-mail the organization and let them know about your charity auction. They will appreciate the help and might even spread the word about the auction.
